PREGNANT WOMAN WAS BEATEN

Ramazan Kalkan, his father Davut Kalkan, his brother Agit and Emine Kalkan, who were detained during the raid on the Kalkan family's house in Saraçoğlu District of Artuklu district, were beaten. Fractures, bruises and tears occurred in various parts of the bodies of the family members who were beaten. While blood stains drew attention on the carpets in the house due to the assault, it was learned that Emine Kalkan is pregnant. Family members went to Mardin Training and Research Hospital and received a report of assault to file a criminal complaint.

THEY WILL FILE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT

Giving information about what happened, Davut Kalkan said that he and his children were forced to lie down on the ground and that the police choked them on the ground. Stating that they did not accept the treatment, Kalkan said: “If there is a search warrant, we do not say anything, let them carry out the search. But I do not accept their brutal behavior. I do not accept being laid on the ground. I do not give them this right. They forced us to lie on the ground and broke one of my son's nose. Even though I said my throat hurt, they squeezed my throat. But I do not accept being forced to the ground during a raid like this. I won't lower my head. I will also file the necessary criminal complaint against them."
