MÊRDÎN - The vigil on the Qamishlo border against the attacks on North and East Syria, "Rojava will definitely win" says DEM Party MP Beritan Güneş Altın.
Turkey and its affiliated force Syrian National Army (SNA) continues its attacks on North and East Syria. Against the attacks the vigil started on the Qamishlo border continues its 11th day. The mass gathered at the border since the morning hours and started to protest with songs of resistance and slogans.
In here speaking Fettah Tekin said: "Improve your relations with the Kurds and ensure peace." Recalling Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's words, "Syria lands belong to Syrians", "We ask; don't the Kurds living in these lands also own these lands?" he asked.
'WE WILL BUILD A NEW LIFE'
Speaking afterwards, Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MP Beritan Güneş Altın stated that they are on vigil for the peoples of North and East Syria to live in peace in their lands. "If millions of people are not safe in their own lands, we are not safe here either," Beritan Güneş Altın said.
Beritan Güneş Altın stated that the voice of the Kurdish people has crossed borders and said that nothing can be achieved with Kurdish enmity. Reminding the massacres against Kurds, Beritan Güneş Altın said: "Kurds have not stepped back from their honourable struggle until today and they will not step back after this. Rojava is where we will build a new life. Rojava is where the democratic, ecological and women's libertarian paradigm comes to life today. For this reason, we are on watch and we will continue to be on watch."
Beritan Güneş Altın continued her speech by commemorating the murdered journalists Nazım Daştan and Cihan Bilgin and said: "Rojava will definitely win."
