We Will Stop Femicide Platform (KCDP) published its report on femicides in February. According to the report, 16 women were murdered and 21 women were found suspiciously dead in February 2025.
WOMEN WERE MOSTLY MURDERED AT HOME
Of the 16 women murdered in February, 4 were murdered by the man they were married to, 4 by the man they used to be married to, 3 by their son, 2 by the man they used to be with, 1 by the man they were with, 1 by her father, 1 by a relative. 11 women were murdered at home, 2 on the street, 1 in a deserted place, 1 at workplace and 1 in front of a school.
According to the data, 69 percent of the women murdered this month were murdered in their homes.
