NEWS CENTER - The security delegation of Iraq and the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by the Iraqi National Security Advisor, travelled to Tehran for a series of meetings.
According to reports in the Iraqi media, a security delegation from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region led by Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassem Eremi arrived in Tehran.
The security delegation, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federated Kurdistan Region Rêber Ehmed and the Head of the Security Department of the Kurdistan Region Hîwa Ehmed, is expected to discuss with Iranian officials the security and intelligence relations between Iran and Iraq, the fight against terrorism, the development of economic cooperation and the interests of the two countries.
It was also reported that regional developments and border issues will be discussed during the meeting. The security delegation from Iraq and Kurdistan Region will meet with Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani and some Iranian officials.
