ÇANAKKALE- 15 people who were detained in Gökçeada district of Çanakkale and Çanakkale on the allegations of attending HDP congress were released with judicial control conditions.
15 people who were detained yesterday in Çanakkale and Gökçeada district of Çanakkale on the allegations of "being an illegal organisation member" and "making propaganda for an illegal organisation" for attending People's Democratic Party (HDP) congress held in 2022, were released on juidical control conditions. Including People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Gökçe Ada District Co-chair Bedirhan Şeker and party executive Savaş Sarıbulak, 15 people were taken to Çanakkale Courthouse after their testify at the police station.
15 people were asked why they went to the HDP's congress in 2022, who hired the car that took them from Çanakkale to Ankara and who was the driver of the car.
After the testify procedures, the prosecutor's office referred 10 people to the Criminal Judicature of Peace with judicial control measures and 5 people to the Criminal Judicature of Peace with the arrest request. The court released all 15 people with judicial control measures.
