NEWS CENTER - The Democratic Autonomous Administration published a 10-point declaration for dialogue in the construction of a new Syria.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration for North and East Syria announced its 10-point declaration for dialogue in the construction of a new Syria with a press statement in front of its building in Reqa. The statement prepared in Kurdish and Arabic was read by the co-chairs of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration, Evîn Siwêd and Hisên Osman.

It states:

“With the fall of the oppressive Baathist regime, Syria entered a new phase. To successfully overcome this transitional period, we must come together, unite, and work to chart a common roadmap. The policies of exclusion and marginalization that have devastated Syria must end, and all political actors must participate in building the New Syria, including during the transitional period. Therefore, we call on all Syrian parties to reconsider their approaches towards one another and prioritize shared national interests above all else.

Based on this principle, we believe that cooperation between the Autonomous Administration and the political administration in Damascus will be in the interest of all Syrians and will help facilitate a successful exit from this difficult phase.

Recognizing our responsibility, as the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, towards the Syrian people in all its components, and responding to the duties entrusted to us by our people, we propose this initiative for Syrian-Syrian dialogue to build the New Syria.

We also appreciate the positive role played by Arab countries and our friends in supporting the Syrian people in all its components and emphasize the necessity of continuing this support to build the New Syria, which ensures the rights of all groups and components on democratic foundations. This will lay the groundwork for launching an inclusive Syrian national dialogue in which everyone participates.

On this basis, we call on all Syrian forces to work together to achieve the following steps, which we consider vital at this stage:

* Preserving the unity and sovereignty of Syrian territory and protecting it from attacks carried out by the Turkish state and its mercenaries.

* Halting military operations across all Syrian territories to initiate a comprehensive and constructive national dialogue.

* Adopting a stance of tolerance and moving away from hate speech and accusations of treason among Syrians. Syria is a country rich in its components, and this richness and diversity must be preserved on a just democratic basis.

* Convening an urgent meeting in Damascus with the participation of Syrian political forces to unify visions regarding the transitional phase.

* Ensuring the effective participation of women in the political process.

* Confirming that wealth and economic resources must be fairly distributed across all Syrian regions, as they belong to all the Syrian people.

* Ensuring the return of original residents and those forcibly displaced to their regions, preserving their cultural heritage, and ending demographic change policies.

* With the developments in Syria, we reaffirm our commitment to combating terrorism to ensure that ISIS does not return, through joint cooperation between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the International Coalition forces.

* Ending the state of occupation and allowing the Syrian people to determine their future while upholding the principle of good neighborliness.

* Welcoming the constructive role of Arab countries, the United Nations, the International Coalition forces, and all active international powers in the Syrian matter. We urge them all to play a positive and effective role in providing advice and support to the Syrian people and bridging the gaps between its components, ensuring the preservation of stability and security, and stopping foreign interventions in Syrian affairs”.
